Accurist is a watch brand close to the hearts of the British public. Established in London in 1946, the aim was to provide customers with quality timepieces, at competitive prices, to maintain a reputaion of value for money.

Since the early days Accurist have achieved its aim, and been at the forefront of changing the public perception of having a watch for life, to the idea of new watches to keep up to date with ever changing fashions. Accurist kept up its role at the forefront of wristwatch fashion, and in the 60's became the watch of choice for the Beatles, Princess Anne, "Twiggy", and many other icons of the time. The 70's were no different for the forward thinking company, and its LCD Digital timepiece was worn by the Concorde pilots on the first ever flight. 1978 saw a run of the below adverts, you may recocgnise the actor.

Associated with the BT Talking clock, the official time of the countdown to the Millenium, and with a host of recognised awards, such as the 2001 UK Jewellery Award for "Best Customer Service", Accurist have led the way in being counted among the largest watch brands, in terms of volume, the world over.
